Let’s make worship awesome
Whether you’re solo or have a team, you can do this
We’re on a mission to help you truly master rhythm guitar
You can learn a song or you could learn a technique and apply it to any song.
You won’t find “Tips and Tricks” and cheesy lines here.
Instead you’ll find practical techniques and in-depth instruction.
Small Community Worship Matters
70% of U.S. Congregations have less than 100 members. The “mega church” way of leading worship probably doesn’t work for you, and we’re here to help.
It’s no surprise the modern church is changing, it has to. As the world changes, we have to adapt. Not our beliefs but the way we meet and worship.
Groups of believers are meeting in homes, parks, and coffee shops. We’re passionate about our relationship with Jesus and others. We’re also passionate about worshiping.
We can worship anywhere at any time. When we’re together, worship draws us closer to Christ.
We believe heartfelt, guitar-lead worship can elevate our local community, no matter the size.
Meet the founder of WGA
Hey, I’m Logan.
I’ve been playing rhythm guitar (among other instruments) for over 20 years.
My first experience playing guitar was with my local church’s worship team. There were only 4 or 5 musicians any given weekend, but together they created some great worship music. I was honored to play along during their worship rehearsals (I wasn’t even plugged in!) and over the next few months I got the hang of transitioning between chords and following the tempo from the drums.
Fast forward over 20 years and I’ve never been more excited to share my experiences and wisdom from playing on worship teams at numerous churches across the United States.
From summer camps to conferences, I’ve served with a lot of really cool people and amazing musicians. Worship Guitar Academy (WGA) is one way I can “pay it forward” and pass on my desire for excellence in rhythm worship guitar to the next generation.
I hope you’ll join us as we continue to learn and grow as musicians (even me too), and serve our communities together through leading worship.
