Chord Transitions

Am to F

How to transition from a Am chord to an F chord.

The Am → F transition is the same vi → IV move in the key of C or any key where you're playing an open Am shape.

By playing the full and open Am chord, the transition to F is fairly straightforward. Focus on strumming the middle 4 strings (A through B). This F chord voicing is full but not as difficult as a barre voicing.
