F#m to E
How to transition from an F#m chord to an E chord.
The F#m → E transition is the same V → vi move in the key of B or any key where you're playing E shapes.
Chord shapes
Play the F#m chord in a F#m shape, and transition to E in an E shape. I prefer the F#m7(sus4) chord as it includes the open B and e string, but make sure you play this chord in a key that naturally includes those notes like E or B major.
